The Business of Art & Design program at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center prepares students for success in hi-tech, design-driven, and creative careers in business and industry. From industrial designers and web developers to photographers, 3D modelers, machine operators and TV/video producers.

In partnership with Halifax County High School and Danville Community College, high school students can earn college credits for classes in Product Design and Development, Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Graphics, and Multimedia. Classes transfer to 2- and 4-year partner institutions including Virginia Tech.

All Business of Art and Design classes are taught on the SVHEC campus in the brand new Innovation Center opening fall 2011.

Interested students should see their HCHS guidance counselors to enroll in classes for the fall and spring.
