Volunteer Literacy Program/English as a Second Language It's never too late to learn to read, or too early to teach those who can't. Setting yourself on the path to getting your G.E.D has never been easier. But taking the first steps towards literacy can be difficult. In addition, English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring is available.The Volunteer Literacy Program removes many of the obstacles that can trip up adult students. The program is free and confidential. Most important of all, tutoring is one-on-one, guaranteeing the kind of personal attention that it takes to progress rapidly to proficiency.
