Automation Technician (Mechatronics)

A 9-month training program providing hands-on instruction in programming, troubleshooting, and repairing automated technologies in a modern production environment. Students will gain in-demand skills in setup, adjustment, and operation of automated machines, robotic operations and terminology, ethernet network operations, programmable logic controls (PLCs), and production monitoring via HMI, Internet, Ethernet, and Smartphones.
Evening class meetings: Tues, Thurs, 5:00pm-9:00pm

IT Academy

IT Fundamentals+: An eight week, introductory course designed for individuals with no prior IT training or experience. Students will gain in-demand skills in basic computing and troubleshooting, basic database concepts, structures, and interfaces, securing a basic wireless network, and setting up and installing common peripheral devices for personal computers. Training leads to CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certification.
Evening class meetings: Mon, Tue, Wed, 5:00pm-9:00pm

A+/Server+: A four month hands-on training program for individuals who want to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for an IT career. Students will gain in-demand skills in hardware repair, installing and configuring operating systems, cable termination and testing, wireless networking, and configuring servers.
Evening class meetings: Mon, Tue, Wed, 5:00pm-9:00pm

Welding

A 10-month training program providing hands-on instruction in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Pipe welding.  Students will gain in-demand skills in oxyfuel, plasma arc, air carbon cutting, SMAW equipment, GMAW, FCAW, and open pipe welds. Training leads to National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification.
Day class meetings: Mon, Tues, Wed, 10:00am-2:00pm
Evening class meetings: Mon, Tues, Wed, 5:00pm-9:00pm

HVAC

A 9-month training program providing hands-on instruction in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Students will gain in-demand skills in heating and cooling, air distribution, refrigerants, and oils, compressors, leak detection, evacuation, recovery, and charging. Training leads to National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification in CORE, NCCER HVAC Level 1 (residential), NCCER HVAC Level 2 (residential), EPA 608 Refrigeration, and OSHA 10.
