The Women in Technology (W.I.T.) Club at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center is inviting women and girls to its first community “Chat and Chew” on September 27th from 4:30pm-6:00pm. The Chat and Chew will feature a panel of successful women in technology who will share their insights on their personal journeys, seizing opportunities, and overcoming obstacles.
Panelists are:

- Maci Henderson, HCMS 7th Grade Science Teacher
- Marjorie Bowers-Stanley, HCPS Instructional Technology Resource Teacher
- BriAna Jeffress, SVHEC Work-Based Learning Coordinator
- Natalie Hodge-Davis, Owner of Rudy’s Girl Media
The Women in Technology Club was started by Christie Hart SVHEC-Career Tech Academy IT instructor. The club provides support, networking, and mentorship for women and girls interested in pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math or STEAM.
