Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or stick welding teaches the operation of AC and DC power sources, welding polarities, heats and electrodes for use in joining various metal alloys using the arc welding process. Students will learn how to run beads, butts, and fillet welds in all positions. This class is open to beginners and those who want to learn basic welding to complete personal welding projects at home or on the farm.

Class Meetings: Tues & Wed|9:00am-12:30pm -Day; 5:00pm-8:30pm-Evening| May 20th-July 23rd
