As a CompTIA Academic Partner, the IT Academy can help you start or advance your IT career with certification-based training. IT Fundamentals+ (10-week course) followed by CompTIA A+, Server+, and Employability Skills (taught as one four-month class) readies students to enter the workforce in entry-level IT positions like IT Technician or Datacenter Technician.

Want to continue developing your IT skills? The IT Academy also offers intermediate and advanced-level training, including CompTIA Linux+, Network+ and Security+ with plans to offer cloud administration training soon. Students test for certifications onsite in the SVHEC Assessment Center.

SVHEC also offers IT classes for high school students through our Career Tech Academy. High school students participating in the Career Tech Academy earn college and high school credits as well as industry credentials.
