Southside VA Community College will offer a new horror course at the SVHEC this Fall. English 225 focuses on short horror fiction from authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, and Clive Barker. In addition to literature, students will explore works of film, art, music, and digital culture to compare how different mediums present dark and scary subject matter.
The class will meet on Wednesdays from 6-9pm at the SVHEC. Students may also take the course by Zoom.
