Dr. Betty Adams received one of the night’s Lifetime Achievement Awards for a distinguished career in education and her commitment to advancing Halifax County.
BriAna Jeffress, Career Tech Academy-Work-Based Learning instructor received the Young Professional of the Year Award for her work in advancing work-based learning and her service to the community.
Four staff members, Madeline Hite, Jermaine Gooden, Catherine Stevens, and BriAna Jeffress, were recognized as graduates of the Halifax Chamber’s Leadership Program. Their completion of the nine month program marks a meaningful step in their professional development.
