This course helps you decide if a career in information technology (IT) is right for you. It provides a wide spectrum of foundational tech knowledge and hands-on skills, helping you become confident and tech-savvy. Tech+ also provides the tech literacy essential for today’s digital economy, making it the perfect starting point for anyone looking to enhance their career with technology skills. The curriculum covers a broad range of IT concepts and introduces a variety of tech-related careers. Students exit the program with the fundamental skills needed to succeed in the next level CompTIA A+ certification program. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam FC0-U71.
Course details
- What you’ll learn — CompTIA Tech+ covers application support, security, databases, programming basics
- Flexible delivery modes:
- In-person Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Online synchronous during seated class time above
- Self-paced online. Work at your own pace week to week and turn in assignments by deadlines. Watch recorded lectures and practice hands-on labs with instructor assistance when you get stuck.
